Civic Epistemologies final conference. Berlin (DE), 12-13 November 2015
The Civic Epistemologies closing conference is being held in Berlin on 12 and 13 November 2015. The project is ending with the delivery of a Roadmap, pointing out a set of steps aimed at improving the relationship between cultural heritage and the society.
In particular, Civic Epistemologies has taken into account two factors:
- the digital is producing a big change that is impacting on cultural institutions, their practices and the way their heritage is preserved, accessed and made available
- the participation of the citizens in digital cultural heritage, digitisation activities and co-creation experiences represents a big potential that is demanding to be unlocked.
The Civic Epistemologies conference will focus on these themes.
