The Fifth International Conference on Digital Presentation and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage (DiPP2015) is being held at the Regional Museum of History and P.R. Slaveykov Regional Public Library in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, on 28-30 September 2015. As invited speaker, Antonella Fresa from Promoter SRL will deliver a talk under the title "DCH-RP and PREFORMA: two case studies on the digital preservation of cultural heritage", focussed on the work carried out by two projects: DCH-RP (Digital Cultural Heritage Roadmap for Preservation, recently concluded) and PREFORMA (PREservation FORMAts for culture information/e-archives).

Civic Epistemologies final conference in Berlin
Civic Epistemologies presented its final outcomes in the international conference Digital Heritage and Innovation, Engagement and Identity, held in Berlin on 13-14 November 2015.
This conference presented research in this area that focusses in particular on the role of digital heritage in citizen engagement and as a means of defining cultural and social identity.
The conference targeted a wide audience, including policy makers, cultural managers and curators, association of citizens, representatives of the educational sector, creative and cultural enterprises.
Europeana Space in Tallinn
Creative reuse of cultural heritage and contemporary practices: challenges and opportunities in the digital world: E-Space II conference tok place in Tallinn on 10-11 December 2015.
This event, organized by the Estonian Ministry of Culture, intended to generate new perspectives for the wider re-use of cultural heritage and contemporary practices within a framework of creative experimentation and novel dialogue between multidisciplinary sectors. Next to interesting keynote speakers and round tables, the conference focused on the lessons learnt in the development of the project’s outputs and on moving towards sustainable results.
Best Practice for Education workshop
Antonella Fresa presented E-Space project at the "Best Practice for Education Workshop" held in Athens on 22 January 2016.
This workshop is the first celebration of the work Europeana Space project is doing in the domain of Education. During this workshop, current best practices for environments/applications to facilitate re-use of digital cultural heritage content in an educational context were presented, together with the 5 educational demonstrators developed within E-Space, the MOOC, and the new online portal E-Space for Education.
