Coventry University Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE) is pleased to announce the Digital Echoes symposium 2014. This event is part funded by ERDF and supported by Creative Enterprise.

Convenors: Professor Sarah Whatley (Coventry University) and Dr Sarah Atkinson (University of Brighton)
Antonella Fresa is appointed as Keynote Speaker of the Symposium and she will take a presentation on "A European perspective on digital cultural heritage" (PDF, 440 Kb).
Promoter @ Europeana Photography Seminar - Software for managing digital collections
Organized by CRDI - Centre de Recerca i Difusió de la Imatge (Ajuntament de Girona) and GenCat - Generalitat de Catalunya (Department de Cultura), a seminar in the framework of EuropeanaPhotography project will take place in Barcelona on the 29th January 2014, at the premises of Palau Moja, Carrer de la Portaferrissa, 1.
Antonella Fresa will join the event on behalf of Promoter.

Promoter @ Achieving Impact 2014, Athens 26-27 February 2014
NET4SOCIETY, the network of National Contact Points for research in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities is organising a transnational conference which will take place in Athens at the National Hellenic Research Foundation on the 26th and 27th February 2014 on the occasion of the Greek EU Council presidency.
Antonella Fresa attends the meeting as representative of the RICHES project.

Promoter @ Workshop on Managing, Computing and Preserving Big Data for Research, Amsterdam 4-6 March 2014
Following the December 2013 workshop “EGI towards Horizon 2020”, EGI.eu and APARSEN (the Alliance Permanent Access to the Records of Science in Europe Network) organised an EGI Community Workshop focusing on “Managing, computing and preserving big data for research”.
The workshop, which was held in Amsterdam from 4th until 6th of March 2014, brought together all scientific domains within the EGI community to discuss and develop requirements on e-infrastructures to foster and support the generation, analyse and usage of the research data.
Antonella Fresa from Promoter Srl and Rosette Vandenbroucke from BELSPO represented the DCH-RP project and more in general the Digital Cultural Heritage community and use cases. Click here to download the presentation which was delivered.
