Civic Epistemologies final conference in Berlin
Civic Epistemologies presented its final outcomes in the international conference Digital Heritage and Innovation, Engagement and Identity, held in Berlin on 13-14 November 2015.
This conference presented research in this area that focusses in particular on the role of digital heritage in citizen engagement and as a means of defining cultural and social identity.
The conference targeted a wide audience, including policy makers, cultural managers and curators, association of citizens, representatives of the educational sector, creative and cultural enterprises.

The Fifth International Conference on Digital Presentation and Preservation of Cultural and Scientific Heritage (DiPP2015) is being held at the Regional Museum of History and P.R. Slaveykov Regional Public Library in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, on 28-30 September 2015. As invited speaker, Antonella Fresa from Promoter SRL will deliver a talk under the title "DCH-RP and PREFORMA: two case studies on the digital preservation of cultural heritage", focussed on the work carried out by two projects: DCH-RP (Digital Cultural Heritage Roadmap for Preservation, recently concluded) and PREFORMA (PREservation FORMAts for culture information/e-archives).

Turin, 29 June 2015: constructing an international model for an eSchool in DCH
On Monday 29 June 2015, the networked school of digital cultural heritage, arts and humanities was presented at the Aula Magna Cavallerizza Reale of Turin's University. It is an Italian model, conceived on a European and international perspective, grouping together over fifty organisations with the aim of creating a "scattered campus", able to activate a nationally coordinated training offer which constructs a complex of digital competences. Promoter SRL is among the participating institutions, signatory of the Networked Agreement.

RICHES for achieving impact through SSH
Unit B6 "Reflective Societies" of DG Research & Innovation of the European Commission (EC) is currently working with the project IMPACT-EV on a report aimed at evaluating the social, political and scientific impacts of SSH research from a SSH perspective, in order to illustrate the relevance and importance of SSH research in our societies. RICHES recently gave its contribution to the survey by delivering to the EC and the IMPACT-EV consortium a review of its scientific and research activities.
RICHES talks about food and cultural identity
On 18 June 2015, the enchanting countryside of Valdera (Pisa, Italy) was seat of an interesting international meeting, focussed on the role of food as element of the European cultural heritage (CH) and aimed at discussing how the changes within our society may have an impact on the wine & food traditions of a territory.
